Midwife

Midwives help women with normal pregnancies and deliveries. They try to make childbirth a natural, safe, and calm event for their patients


Midwife

Core Tasks 

1.Care for pregnant women and provide advice on diet and exercise

2. Certified nurse-midwives perform exams and order lab tests; direct-entry midwives do not

3. Monitor contractions and provide emotional support during labor

4. Deliver babies, assess their health, and give advice to mothers
