Justification
The BSc Marketing is an undergraduate program that has purposed to develop professionals in Marketing. Marketing is considered as the engine that drives organizations. It’s the organization’s function charged with defining customer targets and the best way to satisfy their needs and wants competitively and profitably. Marketing is a practice in both business and non business organizations. The programme produces professional marketers who have qualifications equivalent to the professional CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing).
The Bsc Marketing responds to the growing recognition for the development of creative and effective marketing skills and capabilities to enable organizations curve out their competitive edge in the market place. Success in today’s economic environment demands a thorough knowledge of the changing markets for goods and services, market research, marketing and selling skills, sensitivity to highly segmented global customer bases and integration of marketing with other entrepreneurial management capabilities. The programme will develop strategic, international marketing knowledge, capabilities, skills and techniques among entrants to management in different types of organizations. The Bsc Marketing programme will sharpen students’ analytical skills through exposure to latest developments in marketing.
