The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)
This is a four (4) year program with an option of exemptions for those with a Diploma in Radiography. This course equips students with knowledge and skills to perform radiographic examinations of the whole human body using medical imaging equipment like X-ray, CT, MRI, Mammogram and Ultrasound. On completion the graduate is called an Imaging Technologist. This cadre is on very high demand both within the country and outside.

Course Entry Requirements
S 6 direct entrants need a minimum of 2 principle passes in Biology and Physics. Applicants with only biology will have to first undertake a 6 month’s physics bridging course in order to be eligible for this course.
Applicants with a Diploma in the following fields will be admitted:- Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Radiography and any other approved Health related programs.
