The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)

The primary emphasis of our art degrees is on the development of concepts, skills and sensitivities essential to the professional artist, designer or art educator. In addition to gaining a solid technical foundation in art, you'll also learn communication, critical, analytic thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as individual initiative and responsibility, professional knowledge and performance skills in a broad range of art media.  You'll study the historical context and the role of art and design in the history of humankind.
