• The candidate must have done Biology and Chemistry at A’level, plus either physics, mathematics, or Food and Nutrition.
• A minimum of a Principal pass in Chemistry, plus a sudsidiary pass in Biology, Physics and Mathematics or a Certificate in a Medical Course from a reputable training institution.
• He/She must have passed English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or an appropriate science subject at O’level.

A Pharmacy Technician compounds mix pharmaceutical preparations and gives out medicines to patients following ethical principles of prescriptions issued to patients by clinicians. Keeps stock of medicines and manages Hospital Pharmacy Unit. He/she displays a high degree of empathy, integrity, respect of persons and human Rights; and maintains confidentiality. Upon completion of the course, one can be employed in Government or Non-Government Hospitals, or open up their own Drug shop.
