1. SIEM platforms - These could be Splunk, Alienvault, QRadar and others.  Learning these platforms will give you a great start if you are looking to become a SOC Analyst.

2. Threat Intelligence platforms - CrowdStrike, Mandiant, and others.  Learning how these work will keep you on the cutting edge.

3. Vulnerability Management tools - Nessus, OpenVas, Rapid7, Qualys, and others.  If you can understand vulnerabilities, you can also learn how to mitigate.  You can communicate mitigation plans to your organization.

4. WireShark - Every network and the entire internet runs off of TCP/IP.  Learning Wireshark and how to break down and inspect packets will allow you to understand how traffic flows.

5. Security Awareness Training platforms - KnowBe4, Proofpoint, and other platforms can be used to teach awareness within your organization.

6. Forensic Analysis Tools - learn tools such as The Sleuth Kit, Autopsy, and other tools.  These are great tools to get started in forensics.

7. Malware Analysis tools - Cuckoo Sandbox Analysis tool, Zeek Network Security Monitor and other tools will get you started in the right direction of breaking down malware and understanding it.
