A Sneak Peek into our activities

Activity description

We’re thrilled to share highlights from an impactful Digital Skilling Session held at Mbale S.S, in proud partnership with the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC). This transformative event brought together 50 bright young girls from schools across Mbale, with the goal of equipping them with the digital skills needed to thrive in a modern world.

Schools in Attendance:

  • Nabumali High School

  • Nyondo S.S

What They Learned:

Over the course of the session, the girls received hands-on training in key digital areas:

  • Coding Fundamentals – Sparking creativity and problem-solving through code

  • Email Communication – Professional digital etiquette and effective online communication

  • Graphic Design – Expressing creativity using digital tools like Canva and Adobe Spark

  • Social Media Management – Understanding how to use social platforms for personal branding and entrepreneurship
