The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)

This Diploma Program shall consist of lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, electronics and ICT laboratory practical [computer hardware, Ms apps, software design], , electronics and ICT projects [database, website, programming, computer networking e.t.c], industrial training, and study visits

Benefits of the Program/Course objectives

At the end of the study the students are expected to acquire special skills, and work as Computer Technology Professionals [electronic technicians/engineers, network administrators, database administrators, computer system designers, network analysts]. The acquired special skills will include:

  • Install, Operate, Maintain, and Service/Repair Computer/Electronic Systems
  • Design and Develop Computer Information Systems as IT solutions
  • Design and Configure Computer Networks
  • Gain entrepreneur skills and Create jobs in ICT sector
  • Proceed for further degree career studies in Computer/Electronic Engineering

This diploma program is designed to cater for all those who meet the admission requirements and include: 

  • Holders UACE [A Level] in Science subjects [especially Mathematics/Physics]
  • Holders of UCE [O Level] with relevant certificate to improve on their careers
  • In-service ICT Professionals with relevant Certificate qualifications
