The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)

This course trains the student to operate within urban and rural communities as an integral part of the health team.  He/she takes part in promotive, preventive and environmental improvement programmes.  Enforces public health laws by inspecting food, food premises, bars, hotels, schools and other public places. Supervises Environmental Health Assistants. He/she displays empathy, integrity, respect of persons and human rights; and maintains confidentiality.

 

 

Course Entry Requirements

At least two(2) Principal Passes in Biology and Chemistry. Relevant subjects are  Health Science, Pyhsics, Mathematics and Nutrition.
