Comprehensive nursing entails an optimum skill mix of general nursing, psychiatric, peadiatric, community health nursing and midwifery. Nurses work autonomously or as part of health teams in the care of individuals of all ages, families and communities. Nurses participate in teaching students, patients and caretakers and community.
