Public Health Dental Officers treat patients with oral/dental diseases, They give health advice to patients and the public on proper dental care; refers patients to a Dental Surgeon, where it is deemed necessary, keeps clear, accurate and current records of relevant clinical findings, the decisions made, advice given and treatment prescribed to a patient; 

Course Entry Requirements

Direct Entry

At least 1 Principal pass in Biology and 2 subsidiary passes in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture and Geography. 

In addition one should posses 5 credit passes in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in "O" level subjects.
