The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)
The Bachelor of Science in Midwifery program provides a higher level of midwifery competencies including the management of normal pregnancies/deliveries, postpartum period and the care of OB emergencies. The program also includes topics in the care of infants and children, midwifery pharmacology, reproductive health and the administration and supervision of the health care facility.
Course Entry Requirements
At least 2 Principal passes in Biology and Chemistry. Relevant Subjects are Maths, Physics, Agriculture, Food and Nutrition.
