Justification

The success of today’s private and public sector demand a thorough knowledge and understanding of economic and economic concepts if rational business concepts are to be formulated. This has risen out of the growing complexity in private and public decision making processes due to the changing market conditions and environment.

As a result, there is increasing need for the application of economic logic, concepts, theories and tools of economic analysis in the process of private and public sector decision making. Therefore, students who successfully complete this Degree Programme will have a good understanding of economic concepts and tools that have direct private and public applications.
