The course covers all aspects of polymer and textile science including fibre science, synthesis and mechanism of formation of polymers, structure and properties of polymer, man-made fibre production, analysis, testing, yarn manufacture, weaving mechanism and fabric structure, non-woven and knitting technology

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (IE) program is designed to prepare the student for professional work in the design, improvement, installation, and maintenance of integrated systems of people, materials, information, equipment, methods, and energy.

Course Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements
Have the Uganda Certificate of Education with at least (five passes), or its equivalent and the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two (2) principal passes inprescribed subjects obtained at the same sitting.
Or
Hold at least a Second Class or Credit Diploma from a recognized institution.
