Surveyors do different types of work. Some measure land, airspace and water areas; others measure construction and mineral sites. Surveying job titles include boundary surveyor, construction/Engineering surveyor, geodetic surveyor, hydrographic (ocean, river, waterway) surveyor, topographic surveyor and GIS Analyst/ Geoinformation technologist.
