The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)

This is a two years programme that has been developed to expose students to both theoretical and practical experiences in relation to development. Second year students undertake practical projects in communities to enable them to learn the practice of development research. (Source: Nkumba University Prospectus 2015/16-2021/22)

Course Entry Requirements

  • Direct Entry; the student should have a minimum of one (1) principle pass in all A ‘level subjects obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent in relevant subjects.
  • Certificate entry scheme; the student should hold a relevant certificate.
