The Ministry of Education and Sports has received a call for application for China MOFCOM Scholarship Programme for year 2022

Programs

There is a total of 39 programs, and each applicant can only apply for one program. Detailed introduction and applicant guide of these programs can be found and downloaded at: https://www.china-aibo.cn/en/info/1005/1283.htm.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicant MUST:
1.  Be a Government official, or management staff of organization and enterprises, or academic backbone of universities and research institutions from Uganda, under the age of 45, and preferably with over 3 years of working experience.
2.  Be a bachelor’s degree holder when applying for master’s programme, or a master’s degree holder when applying for doctoral program.
3.  Be in good health (formal medical check-up results from public hospital is required).

Application Procedures

1. All applicants are required to read the application guide carefully, prepare the application materials in strict accordance with its requirements, finish the online application both at www.campuschina.org and the university application website and complete all the application procedures.
2. Carefully read instruction for Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (CGSIS) at www.campuschina.org and remember to choose TYPE B during the online application process.
3. All applicants are required to submit the soft copies of the following:
• Application Form
• Two recommendation letters (PDF), one from the Ministry that the applicants works for; the other from a Professor in the University that the applicant graduated from.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Certificate (PDF) and should be stamped by the Ministry of Education and Sports or Ministry of Foreign Affairs. • Personal Statement including study plan or research proposal with a minimum of 1000 words (PDF). • Foreign Physical Examination Form (PDF).
• Passport photocopy (at least 18 months validity; Service of Diplomatic passport is not acceptable (PDF).
• Certificate of non-criminal record (Police Clearance) (PDF).
