About
The Medical Laboratory Training School, Jinja started in 1967. It started as a training site for laboratory attendants for Jinja Hospital. In 1976 training of Laboratory Assistants commenced with only fifteen (15) students
The institute is a government aided school and an academic institution registered by the National Council for Higher Education. The school strives to produce Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Technologists that have a strong feeling of empathy for the people they attend to.
