Entry requirements Midwifery extension course leading to an award of a Diploma are:
1. The applicant shall be eligible for admission on extension course, if she has had at least two years of experience in the clinical area and not more than (10) years in service. Has been verified and found fit for the course.
2. An applicant must either be:
a) Registered Psychiatric Nurse
b) Enrolled Comprehensive Nurse
c) Enrolled Midwife.
d) Registered Nurse Intake is once a year in May, there are 20 places per intake available (40 in total). Currently we offer the courses for females only. The course is 18 months in three semesters.
Diploma of training by UNMEB. Certificate and Diploma for Registration License to practice as a Midwife by UNMC.
