The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)

Course Entry Requirements

Entry requirements for the enrolled comprehensive nursing direct course are:

1. A Minimum of five Passes in the subjects English Language, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics. N.B. (Agriculture/Home Economics/Foods and Nutrition/Geography/Health Science compensate for physics if not done or failed at senior four). "A" Level is an added advantage.

2. Must have attained the required minimum educational standard not more than three years since the completion of senior four or six

3. The Applicant must satisfy the interview panel. Intake is once a year in May. There are 15 available places per intake (30in total) for male or female applicants. The duration of the training takes 2.5 years or five semesters. Award certificates of training by UNMEB and one from UNMC for certificate of enrollment license to practice as a nurse.
