The studenthub exists to be a voice and a trusted source of career information for students in Uganda. We focus on students from primary through the secondary level to the tertiary level. We exist to Mentor,Motivate and Inspire students to look at their future with great certainty and study with purpose
After Deploring the condition of our school system, we have come to realise that there is a big void in career guidance in the schools as many teachers focus of completing the sylabus and not help guide students as regards the careers they are to pursue in otherwords not sheding enough light as regards the relevance of what is studied in school with the life after school.
It may however not solely be a problem of the teachers but rather the inadequacy of information as regards the various career fields that students can look into. The Student Hub is a repository of tones of information as regards the various career fields and what it takes the student to get into a certain field helping students not chasing elusive dreams but rather inspire them to study with purpose.
What we do
We Mentor
Walking hand in hand with someone with the required experience to held you avoid the pitfuls they fell in and guide unto a clearly path to you greater destiny. We exist to connect students to mentors in the fields they envision to venture into.
We Motivate
Character can not be developed through ease and quite, a couple of times we fall, we need motivation to hung on and not to throw in the towel. We exit to motivate students to trend through the education journey with fortitude.
We Inspire
Looking up to people who have made it in life, who are living the life you envision and hearing their success stories is a great source of information. We exist to bring those people to you to inspire you to look at your future with great certainty.
What do we offer
LeaderShip Training
School is a good ground to training leaders and nurturing them to be leaders in the world after school. However many schools don't have resources to do capacity building. The Student hub has time tasted and seasoned trainers that can equipe student leaders with skills that can make them better leaders in schools and life after school. We believe schools shall be more stable with well trained student leaders
Career Guidance
There are so many careers in this world, many of the are very similar and confusing among students. Many students out of being ill informed choose career paths that are not meant for them, careers that drain them and prevent them from showcasing and maximizing their potential. The Student Hub sheds enough information as possible to help students make right career choices.
Student Ambassador
The Student hub shall have a number of activities of which some will run in schools while others shall run outside school. The student hub has a student ambassador program. In Every school in which the student hub shall be launched, the Student ambassadors shall be the companies liason with the school and organize student hub events along side a career teacher
